Luna to appear on CNN over sex video

JAKARTA, June 16 - After featuring in a talk show on local TV station TV One, noted TV host and model Luna Maya will appear on international cable channel CNN over the controversy surrounding a sex video involving her, her lawyer says.
OC Kaligis, Luna’s attorney, said Tuesday his client would speak of the sex clip, which reportedly featured her and her prominent boy band lead singer boyfriend Nazriel “Ariel” Ilham.
"She is willing to talk to CNN," Kaligis said as quoted by kompas.com.
International media outlets, such as The New York Times, have joined the media hype on the issue deemed taboo in the predominantly Muslim country. The news has even reached South Africa, where the Soccer World Cup is being held.
Another sex clip, featuring Ariel and presenter Cut Tari, was circulated just after his first video spread on the Internet.
Kaligis said Luna, who is an ambassador for the UN World Food Program, will also appear on Metro TV.
IT expert Roy Suryo, who is a House of Representatives legislator, has confirmed the validity of the sex videos. Roy said he would submit his study on the clips to the National Police, which has named him a witness in the case. - Agency
